Great Books Discussion Groups

Overview

Readings

Groups - At long last, a new discussion group has formed in The City itself! Its first meeting will be August 11 at the Richmond Branch Library, featuring a discussion of the Declaration of Independence. Contact Clifford Louie at (415) 750-1786 for further information.

Council

The books that bite and sting us are the great books, by the greatest thinkers and writers of all time.  These are the books that can make you think - that can make you question who you are, what you're doing, and where you're going. The Great Books Foundation, together with its member organizations like the San Francisco Great Books Council, offers you a way to discover these books. Great books groups around the country have been reading and discussing the world's best literature for over 50 years. Please let us know if you're interested in joining us!
