The Great Books Poetry Weekend is held annually (usually in November) at the Westminster Retreat in Alamo, California. Each year, the weekend includes three discussions and a Saturday evening poetry activity that entertains and involves all the participants. Featured poets in recent years have included Seamus Heaney, Geoffrey Chaucer, T. S. Eliot, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, and Constantin Cavafy.
