SAN
FRANCISCO GREAT BOOKS COUNCIL
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA GREAT BOOKS GROUP TO DISCUSS FAULKNER
MASTERPIECE
On the weekend of August 25th and 26th, fifty or
more readers will gather for a weekend at Walker Creek Ranch in northwestern
Marin County for small-group discussions of William Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury. The Great Books Council of San
Francisco, a non-academic all volunteer organization sponsors this annual event
for those who enjoy reading and talking about great novels. The cost, which includes food, lodging
and social activities for the weekend, is quite affordable.
